HOW TO GET HERE

BY TRAIN
From the Santa Maria Novella train station http://www.trenitalia.com/
By taxi: max 10 minutes (recommended) the cost is about € 10-15 depending on whether you arrive on a working day, official holiday or at night.
By bus: lines 23 direction SORGANE or NAVE A ROVEZZANO get off at the stop Corso Tintori and turn right at the traffic light, after 20 meters the first road on the right is Borgo Santa Croce
By foot: about 25 minutes.

BY PLANE
From the Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci
By taxi: about 25 minutes (recommended) the cost is about € 20 e 25 plus luggage fee, depending on whether you arrive on a working day, official holiday or at night.
By shuttle “Vola in bus”: about 20 minutes. It will take you to the Santa Maria Novella train station then follow the “By train” instructions provided above.
Please note: the shuttle does not work on the following days: Christmas, New Year day, Easter, 1st May. You can buy your ticket at the airport bar.

From Pisa Airport
By Terravision shuttle: it will take about 1 hour and it will take you to the Santa Maria Novella train station then follow the “By train” instructions provided above.

BY CAR
From the A1 highway exit at “Firenze Sud”. Follow for about 3 km the S.P. 127 direction Firenze and after the bridge, at the traffic light, turn left following the direction for City Centre and Lungarno. At the Lungarno Zecca Vecchia you can park (only pay and display parking and in the blue lines). Continue by foot to Piazza dei Cavalleggeri bordering the National Library, continue on Corso Tintori and at then take the first turn right into the Antonio Magliabechi street, after 20 meters the first street on the right is Borgo Santa Croce, the B&B is at the number 4 (on the right).

PLEASE NOTE: the B&B is locate in a traffic restricted area (Zona a Traffico Limitato or ZTL).
The access by car is forbidden from the beginning of Corso Tintori, checked by cameras and signed by proscriptions signs.
Non-resident people can enter the city center and park in a garage, which will take care of communicating the car plate number to the authorities to avoid fines. The nearest garage is Garage Verdi (G. da Verrazzano street n.9/11, which costs between 21 e 29 € per day; opening hours: working days 6,00/0,30; holidays 6,30/12,30 – 19,30/0,30; tel. +39 055 244 921).
